Kathy Reid-Ready

About fifteen years ago Kathy found an article on wheat weaving in a craft magazine and she fell in love. She is mostly self taught, but she attends the California Wheat Weavers Guild annual conventions where she at first took classes and eventually started teaching classes. She loves sharing her craft with others by holding workshops and demonstrations at fairs, schools, and community groups. She feels that wheat is a very satisfying medium which connects us to our ancient agricultural heritage and to our very roots in nature.

The Mordiford $16
This heart shaped design is named after the village where it originated, Mordiford, England. It is usually thought of as a symbol of love and friendship.
